  • Two songs for October 3

There are many scripture options in the lections for October 3. Here are a couple of songs to help you open up the passages for this week:

    • The steadfast love of God (pdf and bulletin graphic) - a setting of Lamentations 3:22. We've found many uses for this simple song over the past few years, as a song of assurance, and as a refrain for a number of psalms, etc.
    • Commit your way to God (pdf and bulletin graphic) - a fresh, new refrain for Psalm 37

Enjoy! We would appreciate it if you would ensure the full copyright credits are included on any copies you make, and if you have a license from www.licensingonline.org, please record any songs of ours which you use in worship to help support us in our music making. • There is room for all - September 26

As someone with friends from many faith paths, I rejoice in the diversity of spiritual expression, the multi-faceted faces of the Holy which guide and nurture my sisters and brothers around the world. "There is room for all," from our album This is the Day, has been a favourite of mine for a number of years for that reason, since it reminds us of the all-embracing love of God-by-many-names. Hallelujah!

As Psalm 91 is in the lectionary readings for this week, we're celebrating by offering you a free download of an SATB score, an SATB/piano score and an mp3 of "There is room for all" (with wonderful accompaniment on tabla and dilruba by some amazing musician friends, followers of the Sikh faith) to help you sing again in tune with each other and with the Divine. Enjoy!

  • Help us, O God our Saviour (September 19)

A cry to God in the midst of Psalm 79 inspired a wonderful new sung refrain! I hope you find it as helpful as I do:

Sorry to be posting it a bit late this week - we were busy finishing up our Christmas album project with Neeraj Prem! I figured better late than never, for those who are still searching for the right songs for Sunday morning...

The scriptures for September 12 are full of the call to come home to God and to Christ, to forsake foolish ways and follow the faithful path. Here are a couple of songs to help open up the scriptures in your community this week:

  • In the studio again with Neeraj Prem!

Our good friend, Neeraj Prem, flew in from Toronto on Wednesday, and we're in the studio finishing up our soon-to-be-released new Christmas album, A Black and White Christmas. Musically it's a delightful IndoCanadian fusion approach to traditional Christmas carols, and we're quite excited about it! We're also shooting video for some of the songs over the coming days. If you'd like to know more, drop us a line or call us.

Plans are in the works for some launch concerts in November, so check back for further details. Anybody interested in having us us come through your community? We might just be able to squeeze you in...
